Blaze Cycle's was founded in 1998 on Vancouver island British Columbia. It was created by four friends out of Nanaimo. They were serious into mountain biking and loved hitting the bike park after they got out of school. It was getting close to the end of their semester and they were about to graduate. They were trying to figure out what they wanted to do. And that's when the idea came, they knew that they were very skilled mountain bikers but not good enough to become pro, but they new they were very good at design and the intricate mechanics of bikes. That's when they came up with Blaze Cycle's. We were quite small and were making very few bikes but selling enough to get by. But we knew our dreams could get bigger and that we could have real possibility in becoming big. That's when we found 2 pro MTB downhill mountain bikers that would test our bikes in the Redbull hardline biking event. We sponsored them with two of our finest Blaze DH bikes. That day, they finished 3rd and 5th. We knew, at that point, that our bikes had a great design concept and that our business would grow big. After that event, our sales increased and we got funded enough money to go international. Now, here we are making some of the most technologically advanced performance bikes on the trail. We have used our quality framework and components from our race bikes to bikes that we sell. We are here to change the world of transportation by making some of the most advanced electric bikes for half the price of an electric motor bike.
